Foreword:
It's War!. Finally. After almost 8 years of preparation, time & dimensional
manipulation by Clare,
design & creation of the first little crescent ships and the successful
progressing of the Galactic
conquest by Glorificus' fleets.
The trial run was the 'Turkey Shoot' about and on Antar in "Bye-Bye
Roswell, Really".
During Ava's bloody
tour of New Mexico in "Quest for Alex", she wished for a single
little crescent
ship to wreak havoc on the secret pro-alien groups trying vainly to kill
her and Clare's 4 girls.
Now Clare & Dawn provide several pairs of the new crescent ships
to start the War in the Lost
Roswell dimension. As a prelude to expanding it to the L.A. & Sunnydale
similar dimensions.
And to see if the groups are communicating across the dimensional
barriers. Glory stands by with
her personal ship at the 50 LY limit Clare has set for Glory to not
use her brutal magic and planetary
bombardment approach to liberating the remnants of the Anunnaki and allied
clans loose empire of
planets. "I was born on earth, unlike you,"
Clare has reminded her over the years. "Cratering
it
into submission like the others is not an option."
In the course of the Work, we learn more about the crescent ships capabilities,
weapons, origins
and the secret human Black Triangle ships. Tess does the wet work by teleporting
into several ships to
brain-drain info. Maria and a number of the supergirls, including new ones,
decimate the opposition
with the never-before-seen little crescent ships, which are essentially
unbeatable in combat.
The huge mother starships (Clare's "Clare Declared" & "Dawn's
Glory
Triumphant" and Glory's
"Glory Always") use portals as weapons to dig out the deep underground
bases and introduce type
'dot-dot-dot' (i.e., 3 in Anunnaki & Sumerian) powerful mega-farad
electrically initiated fusion weapons
(origin of the so-called 'Red Mercury' micro-nukes rumors of the 1990's
here).
There's a party afterward.
Actually two parties.
One in the Crashdown, featuring the singing 8-year old god-girls.
Another on the roof of Glory's Palace.
Where the L.A. Circle supergirls first conspire against Clare and the Pantheon.

Part 1: "Maria,
Tess and the Cee-Dee-One"
"How's that for a landing?" Maria announced.
She throttled down the crescent ship and shut
off the revealed force drives as the silvery
craft feathered to a stop in its descent. Her
fingers playing on the depression controls
as if on a piano.
Expertly and rapidly.
Maria was one of the premiere pilots in the Pantheon.
And only an immortal, not even a supergirl as
yet.
The multi-colored symbols on the display panels
that substituted for windows were in a mixture of
Anunnaki cuneiform and English. The display showed
the street in front of the Crashdown
in realer-than-real 3-D.
An ashen-faced Tess, still searching for her stomach
after the elevator-like simulation
of a crashlanding technique that Maria preferred,
swallowed.
"Uh, great..." tiny blonde Tess spoke weakly,
hanging onto her co-pilot's conformable seat sides,
strugglling to get her senses back to normal.
She contemplated barfing on the sidewalk in front of the Crashdown as she opened the hatch.
'How in the hell,' she thought, leaning against
one of the hatch sides as she exited down the
curved ramp to her right, 'could a fricking god
get motion sickness in a craft with total
simulated gravity control?'
With her feet finally on a solid surface, Tess immediately felt better.
Maria, exiting behind her, was laughing. "You
have to not follow the ground in the display
with your eyes," she explained, sincerity in
her voice. "Even with simulated gravity in the ship,
your eyes'll tell your ear canals that you're
doing rollercoaster flips and landing upside down,
until I do the flipover..."
Tess mumbled a few bad words in a near-forgotten language or two.
Then said, " And you can't do a more normal helicopter-like
landing instead of a crack-the-whip
circus near crash?"
"Hey," Maria stood with her hands on her hips
after closing the drop-down hatch cover
that doubled as a ramp. She'd just glanced beneath
the craft to be sure the three landing
bumps had extended. She looked like a WWI
pilot, in her now de rigeur khaki pants & shirt and
darker leather jacket with matching knee-high
soft boots, crescent ship flight outfit.
She left her highly-instrumented Snoopy flight
cap, with 3-D display goggles up above her
forehead like fat dark sunglasses.
Maria's long reddish hair fell out of the cap,
spilling out from under the flaps to curl about
her voluptuous braless breasts, barely
contained by her khaki shirt's straining buttons.
Its pockets filled more with boob and visible
nipple than other content.
On her waist was an old model, non-conformal Annunaki
portal belt, silver in color. The only
version she was allowed to use until she was
more expert at it. At least it gave her the ability
to do short and medium range portaling without
having to ask a god.
A definate benefit of being a pilot.
The silvery crescent ship almost filled the width
of the street in front of the Crashdown Cafe.
Quite obviously attracting a lot of attention
in Maria and Tess' native Lost Roswell.
Including a couple of state troopers, trying to
act casually as they approached the vessel, so
unlike the saucers seen in the display above
the Crashdown.
And so damned real.
With its two conversing and so obviously
attractive female occupants.
"Showtime, Tess, " Maria, hands still on her hips,
said. She turned to the two wide-eyed
youngish male troopers, still trying to
fit what they were seeing into their concepts of reality.
[Ed- this 'Showtime' comment predates the Buffy 7-11 episode title announcement by many months.]
"Boo!", Maria yelled. Laughing.
One of the troopers almost fainted.
The other drew his double-action only Glock auto
pistol.
Tess had recovered and did her expected godly
escort job by instantly and surgically vaporizing
the pistol, without harming the trooper. Leaving
him holding a handfull of aluminum and steel
alloy powder. And two smoking hot
wood grips he dropped.
Both backpedaled rapidly.
Boots scrabbling on the street.
"Go away!" Maria said forcefully. "We have business in the Crashdown."
A number of tourists approached the two
girls as they neared the doors. "Please sign our
menus.,, Can we take pictures with you? ,,,Who
are you?,,, Is this a movie set?,,, Are you
really aliens?"... and similar comments were
shot at Maria and Tess by families and
others.
Maria and Tess reluctantly signed autographs,
several hands and posed for photos with the
Crashdown or the Cee-Dee-One (Clare Declared-1)
crescent ship in the background.
Tess was miffed that they seemed to be focusing
on Maria and her striking outfit more
than on herself in her midriff-baring jeans and
barely-there revealing pale yellow top.
She vowed to apply for crescent pilot training
to get the right to wear the outfit.
Even if she had to fly with little baby Zan latched onto one of her breasts.
Somehow nearly a hundred people had managed to
gather in the street between the
Crashdown and the Cee-Dee-One.
Wading through the tourists, Maria yelled, "The
ship is surrounded by a powerful ward.
It could fry you like bacon if you try to touch
it," she warned.
The crowd backed up quickly.
And the two girls took the opportunity to turn
and enter the Crashdown.
Tess grumbled as she stepped through the doors.
"It will not fry them like bacon. It's a
simple barrrier..."
"They don't know that," the ever practical Maria
said to the sometimes literal Tess, looking
around at the place she'd left so hurriedly last
Spring.
