"The Parable of the Time of Transition"

Transcribed from the truly awful to-translate handwritten documents provided by
'Dawn the Last Slayer' in her fall of 2010 and later from the  faster time rate
Glory's World.  Corresponds to about 2002-2003 in our "Buffy/Dawn is TV"
dimension and maybe sometime in 2003-2004 in the "Buffy/Dawn is Real"
  Sunnydale.

  -Editor" Glory (Gloriana), etc.
 - Dawn's original title was  "Transition Time""

This  Work  seems to be a new companion to DTLS's  pre-2001 Buffy/Roswell Season
prescient Work  "Parable of the Magic Scrolls". It may or may not be predictive of the
  Buffy/Dawn Season 7 and Dawn Season 8.

Wait and see is the best advice.

One interesting curiosity  is that in 'Our Story' all the Clare/Glory lookalikes are already
aware  of the existence of Clare, Dawn and the Pantheon. The implications are
significant since that is subtly  factored  into this Work.

It was obviously written after the tumultuous events described in "Our Story" and the intervening
Ava-Tess centric works.  These are generally complete as manuscripts in-hand, except
as noted in  the Works listing. None are 100%  on-line at this time.

Also note that Dawn is now referring to "Buffy/Dawn", whereas she has always previously
 simply used "Buffy".

Part 2- "Tell us a story, Auntie Dawnie..."

...Clare's train of thought was stopped by her god-girls laying it on thick to
get a story out of Dawn. Because Dawn had earlier found a way to project her
story images into the minds of the girls and all those around her --- with no
physical contact.

With their permission, of course,

And now she was asking that for all in the room, Clare included.

"Not the babies," one of the Avas piped up.
"No, not them," Dawn agreed.

Even Clare gave permission, though she didn't like Dawn, or anyone,
ever touching her mind, however harmlessly. It could trigger one of Clare's
endlessly reactive wards and protective magic.

She carefully adjusted her god auto-wards to allow the projection, within a
narrow range.

Happily, the girls rewarded Dawn with kisses and more hugs. Gloriana
touched the notebook that Dawn had been writing in, "Why won't you let
us read what you write? We'll break the spells on them and the internet
someday, doncha know?"

Dawn scoffed.

"If you two imps could break my spells, or your Mom's magical internet filter
that follows you around,  you'd not be bothering me!" She grabbed Gloriana
and tickled her until she exploded with laughter.

Then Inanna.

"OK" Dawn finally said, after casting some sort of quick cobwebby spell
on the room's occupants, including the sleeping Tess.

"I'll tell you about the one I'm writing now...maybe." She looked at Clare,
who'd put the novel into sleeping Tess' lap and put her arm around her
small, almost child-like. shoulders.

It comforted her, since Dawn had both her god-girls in her arms.

"If," Dawn continued, "Your Mom experiences it and likes it, she could do me
a favor and make it happen. I haven't had time to pursue it. The "Gods
& Demons" series with  Mary-Kate & Ashley..."

[Ed- This series and the preceding diversionary movie were Dawn's major
personal efforts since Buffy's return as  god in "Comprehension". What
Dawn omits is her considerable media empire, that resulted. Including
massive investments by Holly, Glory, Clare/Glory of the almost endless wealth
of Glory's world, the Glory/Glory Hall assets and Holly's millions of years old
personal wealth. Plus the additive wealth of some of the off-earth technology that
Buffy-Anne, Dawn and the Roswell Tess were slipping onto earth via front
         companies.

This was part of the reason for the violent attempts to kill her and the others
in Ohio. Apart from the plans with Majestic to slowly debug earth of its
half-million years or more of alien infestation.]

The Twins smiled broadly.

It was the long delayed series named after their own merged dimension's series
they'd starred in. They'd helped Dawn select both remaining pairs of the dimensional
'twice twins' to play the Sukkhal sisters in high school in Delaware, Ohio.

Which is where they'd started their hunting of prey in the larger Ohio cities.

"We'll see it as you tell it?" the god-girls asked together.  "We see nothing yet
from that spidery spell of yours."

"Hang in there. Come closer, " Dawn pulled both closer in her arms, one on either
side. "Just the right story-telling way for little girls, " she laughed.

There was anticipation in the room.

For Dawn's storytelling, even without a tantric bestowal or her cobwebby spell,
was legendary. "Once upon a time," Dawn let the god-girls snuggle in and look
up at her with their big gray eyes in small faces.

Almost adoration.
Well, adoration.

"Once upon a time," she repeated. "There was a girl named Dawn who had been
a Key. Her reality was made by a certain green demon-girl, a Roswell girl, a certain
future god-girl and your sweet, innocent and beautiful Mom."

Clare sniffed at the backhanded dig.
'Innocent?' she thought.
copyright © 2001 gloryisagod.com/DS/G(G)
"That Key," Dawn winked at Clare, "was me."

Suddenly everyone was seeing the birth of the Dawn from the Key by Curupira.
Actually as if they were there. In the warehouse one step ahead of Glorificus pounding
on the big door.

The noise was deafening.

Clearly visible were screaming mindwarped monks, Tess with her hands out, Clare
with the bloody Buffy panties, Glory Hall doing a spell and Curupira still on her
knees holding  the newly made naked Dawn. Artfully censored out was Pat.

[Ed- See the long, long synopsis of "Dark Deeds" and the initial Work portion online already.
The manuscript has been 100% in-hand since Spring 2002. This flashback work
undoes all the lies and deceptions that led to Dawn and godhood for the conspirators.

"But," Dawn transitioned, "That was there in Sunnydale."

"In the other similar dimension, where Buffy/Dawn is not real. There is no Dawn and
Clare is not a god. There is only Michelle. And Clare. Just actors." The image in their
minds reformed from Sunnydale in August 2000 to a much later time.

Not in Sunnydale.

Michelle turned in the darkened room to see Clare suddenly appear. "Why, Glory,"
she said casually. "What brings you here again?"  She walked fearlessly toward
her one-time nemesis.

Clare mimicked her approach.

"I thought you'd gotten tired of pestering me. You know you can't hurt me now,"
Michelle spoke with Dawn-Slayer surety. Not a trace of emotion on her face or
in her eyes.

They now stood at arms length.

Clare posed a Glory look of disdain. "Maybe not, sweetie," she said with her Glory
neo-valley-girl voice. "But I can help solve your immediate problem for you."

Michelle leaned closer, provocatively, "Why?" she asked, " Would you help me
again? I told you the last few times that you're outliving your welcome. Actually
outliving, period."

"Go away!" Dawn finished loudly and dismissively.

Glory demurred, steepling her fingers. "You're still the Key and we're inextricably
linked together. I find what you're doing now quite boring. And I 'd still like to
take you to my world. We could have real big girl fun. Like we couldn't before. "

"Girls like us, " Glory said sincerely, "We belong together ... separately, of
course. Not like before."

Dawn looked up, rolling her eyes dramatically.

"Haven't you 'helped' me enough already? I never asked for your help. I haven't
forgotten what you and they did and how you managed it. But why me? You
wanted me to die for you once. Then not. So why now?"

Clare smirked, " 'Cause you're so cute, Dawnie honey?" she laughed.

"Kiss my sweet Key ass, Glorificus. Again," Michelle retorted. Also laughing.

"THIS is all wrong!" a loud female voice called out.

"Cut!...who said that? And that last exchange wasn't in the script,"  the director
of the episode said, annoyed at the late evening retake. "You two are supposed
to be serious."

The dollied camera pulled back to encompass the set. Lights came on outside
the set. The many off-camera people were all visible.

Michelle walked off and retrieved a half-empty plastic water bottle. Clare stayed
where she was, shrugging her shoulders in her revealing dress, idly making a creative
series of crazy faces at the nearest camera, just for fun.

It relieved the tedium.

The familiar-sounding voice came again, from beyond the set, toward the side.
"Like I said, the voice repeated, THIS is all wrong!"

Clare the god swept onto the set.
Casually dressed.
Wearing a scarf.
Flanked by her four girls.

"Transition time, girls and not-girls!" she said, gesturing magically.

Michelle grabbed a frozen Clare for protection. Michelle's eyes were huge.
Clare seemed to be about to say something, then thought better of it.

The set, crew and actors vanished from L.A. without a sound.
To appear in Glory's palace...in the center of the great hall.

Michelle looked up at the spectacular distant ceiling fearfully. Seeing the endless
images of Glory marching toward the far end of the hall.

[Ed- There's a lengthy description of the hall and ceiling and some of the palace in the
very first DTLS Work online, "Buffy & Glory - Beyond the Portal".

Clare had no reason to look up.
She watched Clare the god with rapt intensity.

"Uh," Michelle dropped her eyes and  finally found the cause of this all. "Is that you?
Glory... you...you're real?" She still was hanging onto her Clare, shaking slightly.

Laughing, Clare pulled off her scarf to reveal her long blonde hair. "That's the real Glory,"
she pointed up with a forefinger. "I'm just plain ole Clare, Queen of the Pantheon," she said,
feigning humbleness.

Laughing, Clare pulled off her scarf to reveal
her long blonde hair.

"That's the real Glory,"  she pointed up with a
forefinger.  "I'm just plain ole Clare, Queen of
the Pantheon,"  she said, feigning humbleness.

"And, by the way, I'm also a god."

"And, by the way, I'm also a god."

The other Clare slowly extracted herself from the grip of the shaky Michelle. She did
a full turn to see that the entire set, crew and support people were with them.

And dwarfed by the enormous hall.
Not surprising to her.

"What's going to happen to us?" this Clare said, when she completed her turn. Michelle
retreated behind her for imagined protection.

Clare waved her white and black scarf absently in the air, "Nothing - yet.  Just doing a
favor for Dawn," she said simply. As a dozen or so girls, some carrying babies, wandered
in from other unseen rooms and halls.

[Ed- This scene is eerily reminiscent of the scene from the Sept 2001 online work "Parable of the Magic Scrolls",
which foreshadowed the twisted path Buffy Season-6 would take and the death spiral of Roswell
          Season-3":

            They were badly mistaken.

            Dawn blurred.

As they picked themselves up with several bruised ribs each, they rethought their plan and began
pouring out their scrolls and writing instruments onto the road, shaking in terror.

From somewhere, more girls that should not exist in reality walked up. Dawn introduced
them as they paraded past and then stood behind her in a loose chatting crowd.

They kept coming. New faces, new powers, old faces, new powers, pregnant, not pregnant.

FInally, Dawn motioned the travelers past. "You're free to go. May you find solace
           in small things."

"Gloriana, honey," Clare touched a little girl on the arm, "Go find Dawn and the others
on the "Triumphant". She pointed to her right thru one of the glassless windows. Many eyes
followed her hand and saw much of the sleek black object squatting down the lake beach like a
giant battleship-sized triangular bug.

The moored sailboats on the nearer dock seemed like tiny toys by comparison.

Beyond it, partially in the water, was a golden globe, even larger.  "Our two resident
starships," Clare answered the unasked question. "Black one's Dawn's gift from Glory,
Glorificus that is, the "Glory Triumphant". Gold one's my own "Clare Declared".

"Modest, aren't we?" she added playfully. "Girls name ships differently than guys."

She didn't add that thousands of the crews had died when both ships were stormed.
One by Glory and the other by Clare herself, each with some of the supergirls.
copyright © 2001 gloryisagod.com/DS/G(G)
[Ed- Glory personally took the later-named "Glory Triumphant" in the aptly-titled "Blood Road". Clare
took the later-named "Clare Declared" in "Inanna's Revenge". Though, unlike Glory, she spared
some of the command support crew. Two became her teen adopted IGIGI daughters, Angie
          and Kat, now supergirls.]

The impatient little girl, fidgeting while Clare talked, looked up. "Now?"

Clare nodded. "Take your sister," she said without thinking. The girl took
the hand of the big-eyed little redhead and they just vanished without a sound.

Michelle gasped, as did most of the others from the set. The arriving and
curious girls ignored the obviously routine vanishing of the two little girls.

"Now," Clare returned her attention to the set people.

"Welcome to Glory's Palace. It's at least 50 million years old. Mostly magic.
On a magic world. I just portaled you through a two-step to get here. From
your dimension, thru a temporary expansion of the Sunnydale portal, and
to here."

"Coulda done it as a one-step," she said casually, "but that'd be showing off."
She didn't tell them that Glory's world was a planet orbiting a star in the Lesser
Magellanic Cloud.

That it was 170,000 light years from earth.

Or that took a Key and/or a super god to open a portal that far away. Only Glory,
Holly or Clare could do it at the moment. Or a giant starship with massive portal
capability.

These were very rare.

[Ed- In fact, other than these two, only one other, Glory's newest flagship, the cylindrical
mile long "Glory Always" was known to be capable of a one-step portal of this magnitude.

At the beginning of "Inanna's Revenge", Clare takes Gloriana in her arms and does an
'impossible'  teleport (not a portal) 28,000 light years out of the galactic plane to Dawn's
"Glory Triumphant". She uses her powers from outside the ship in hard vacuum to determine
where Inanna's last flagship, later renamed the "Clare Declared", has portaled to.

Then she personally opens a ship-sized portal to Inanna's destination, a planet somewhere
in the Andromeda galaxy, about 2 million light years distant. Back inside the ship, Clare
leads the final chase down of Inanna. She personally takes the ship in a bloody battle
like nothing we've ever read. We'd always thought Clare was squeamish about killing.
Obviously a mistake on our part.]

"Ha", someone in the crowd of girls said. "Isn't that what this is...showing off?"

"Our non-resident naysayer," Clare didn't even frown. "This is Holly. She's pregnant
and uncharacteristically snappy these days. She re-created the universe for all of
us to enjoy. "

"You may also know her as "God comma The". We call her the re-creatrix
of the local universe, " she added without elaboration.

It was easy to spot Holly. She was quite taller than the tallest of the girls,
the one with the two baby girls. Plus she was one of the few non-blondes
or non-redheads.

Holly, the re-creatrix god, had long wavy beautiful auburn hair.

"Though she now has, um... confined her life to lesser activities," Clare
smiled a toothy smile.

"But still important," she added.

"Thanks to you, Clare," Holly said without malice. She turned to her Lonnie
and began discussing something softly.

"The shorter girls, like me,  are,"  Clare waved her hands, "Mostly either supergirls or gods.
Some with their babies. Future supergirls and gods. There are a few  of our mere
immortal, or mortal,  guys wandering around the palace or in Sunnydale, but not here
at the moment."

Clare reached out and pulled a tiny blonde out of the pack.

"This is my sweet Ava. She's also pregnant." Then a lookalike carrying a baby girl.
"Another Ava and her Eve," Clare said cryptically.

[Ed- Clare's 'sweet' Ava, now a god, the Roswell/L.A. Ava of "Comprehension", initially bestowed
to supergirl by the, then new, Glory-made god Buffy, was also a surprise in the killing department.

In "Quest for Alex" she left an awesomely bloody trail behind her and Clare's 4 girls in New Mexico,
while backtracking the recently-arrived in Sunnydale "Lost Roswell" Tess and baby Zan. (See
"Bye-Bye Roswell, Really"--- as both interlocked works slowly are transcribed and uploaded from
the long ago received manuscripts). The horrendously fatal mistakes made by the hunters of Tess,
in believing Ava was the alien Tess, cost them dearly. Like she said in the Crashdown,
"I may look like Tess, but I'm a god - unfortunately for you!"  This was quickly proved to be an
           accurate prediction.]

"The cute taller girl with the twins is the latest Lonnie. From Lost Roswell. Those lovely little
girls with the big eyes are her twins, Fay and Kay..." Clare paused as the proud Mom
pushed her way to stand beside her diminutive sister's lookalike.

Her smile was genuine.
She was taller than all but Holly and her other lookalikes.

Clare pointed to another tiny blonde Ava lookalike walking through the crowd as if she owned
the path. And she did. Carrying a big baby boy with a fetching smile on his face as he looked
curiously at all.

They parted for her with amused looks and some feigned alacrity.

For she was Clare's current favorite, her roommate and incredibly powerful for a relatively new
god. Bestowed to godhood by the awesomely powerful Clare herself.
copyright © 2001 gloryisagod.com/DS/G(G)
A true rarity.
And she knew it.

Clare toyed with the baby's hands lovingly and kissed Tess briefly on the mouth in
an obviously enthusiastic greeting.

Turning back to Michelle and the actress Clare, she smiled her dazzling smile. "Sweet Tess
and baby Zan. Tess is the Queen of Antar by right of conquest. We took the planetary
systems recently with our two ships and some finesse," Clare's gray eyes almost glowed
at the choice memories.

[Ed- This was in the earlier work "Bye Bye Roswell Really". The battle for Antar was relatively
bloodless and easy. Antar was a backwater area compared to what Clare & Glory were
used to dealing with. Dawn and the supergirls were already referring to it as the 'Antar Turkey
          shoot'.

Antar is one of 2 associated star systems in Ophiuchus about 22 light years from
earth. Well within the local earth region claimed by Clare as off-limits to Glory (Glorificus)
for Glory's rather invasive fleet bombardment approach to the debugging of aliens. Antar was
affiliated with the Gallu (grays) Anunnaki android manipulation of the Roswell/NYC hybrids,
Tess. Ava, etc. Some of this alien technology found its way into the Bots, as noted in
         "Three Days in Sunnydale".

Also, the Twins got to use their short swords again in service  to Clare. They slew Kivar,
Tess'  nemesis,  near Tess'  villa on the rise above the valley on Antar.]

Clare waved her left hand at the pack of girls, chatting among themselves and now
ignoring the intrusion of the set and people. "Isabel and Tess, the infamous 'Roswell
Roses' of Sukkhal prophecy."

[Ed- The incisive opening of Pandora's box by Isabel and Tess in  ripping their way through
Sunnydale, and L.A  with the Sukkhal god-Killer Twins, is in "Three Days in Sunnydale" and
"Blood Road" The two unplanned supergirls were bestowed in 'Three Days in Roswell ".]

"My other two girls, Angie and Kat," Clare pointed to the teen blonde and brunette still
conversing animatedly on a bench over near one of the windows, unconcerned.

Continuing, Clare said rapidly, " My own Tess and Curupira, now separated, Curupira
is the de facto sister and maker of the Key-Born Slayer..." she showed off the Sukkhal
Twins last, other dimensional clones of herself and Glory, bypassing a number of the girls.

The two scantily-clad Twin girls swept past Clare and began weaving their way
through the set people, sniffing each curiously.

Clare sighed. "These girls never take anything at face value."

The two looked at Clare for permission to continue.
She nodded assent without question.

She picked out the remaining other girls one by one.

Dazed, Michelle, with her Clare, kept greeting the seeming endless parade
of attractive, friendly girls. Some took their hands, others kissed them on
the cheek or mouth briefly.

The cute and cuddly babies invariably grabbed for Michelle's long brown hair
and  Clare's fine blonde tresses with strong little fingers. Tess and Lonnie
were still nursing their babies.

Ava was cleaning up openly after feeding Eve, who was drably messy.

Most of the set people were still on or beside the floor of the set, watching warily.
The director/producer was quietly growing restless as the Twins worked
their way through the bedroom set.

The camera crew had never stopped filming when they discovered that their
cameras worked even though the cables ended lying loose on the reddish beige
triangular marble-looking tiles.

Several said among themselves, "If this is real, we're really in trouble...I thought
it was all B.S., ... until now...just a job..."

A slight pop signaled the sudden arrival of Dawn, clad in calf-high brown boots.
She wore a pale green body suit. Her brown hair spilled to her waist front and back.

She was accompanied by the two little girls, who stood uncomfortably between
Michelle and Dawn as the two stared at one another. Like looking into a mirror.

"Come here," Clare bent slightly and gathered both her 8 year olds into her.

The Twins turned to Clare again. "If we find prey...?"

"Then it's prey...yours," she said between whispers to her small god-girls.
"Put those swords away, " she said cheerily. For she'd seen one blur and
the flash of steel as it appeared from nowhere.

The two girls were saying, "Is that one of the other you's and another Auntie
Dawnie?" Clare had been responding privately. She looked up and laughed
deliciously, '"Yeah," she squeezed both to her hips, "but they don't have any
powers ... yet..." she added.

"Go to them, " Clare patted the girls on their small behinds to move toward them.
Both hesitantly stepped forward and held out their hands.

They announced their names.
Lots of "N" sounds.

To Michelle's astonishment, Clare immediately scooped up the one called Gloriana,
who wrapped her legs around Clare's waist, resting on her right hip.

Michelle astutely copied Clare and lifted the little redhead to a similar position.

"You look like my Mommy," Gloriana kissed Clare on the cheek experimentally.
"Were you with us in...Ohio... earlier?"

"Uh-huh, "Clare answered, "On the end, across from Dawn in the 'All the
Callies and Clares Conference'", she smiled at the memory.

[Ed- This was in "Our Story", after the battle beside the Roswell artifact hangar at Wright-
Patterson AFB, down the road from their common hometown of Delaware, Ohio.
This was the first time Dawn and Faith had fought together. But Dawn was a new god
by then and Faith was only an immortal Slayer.]

Clare thought that the girl smelled like a fragrant flower, but remembered that each of
the gods had a slightly different fragrance. A tiny part of their general glamour, leaking
through all their cloaks and wards. Each god was a maze of magic surrounding
a magical physical body of pure god-DNA.
copyright © 2001 gloryisagod.com/DS/G(G)
Cloaking was a fact of their lives.

Otherwise everyone would be on their knees now, unable to stand in their presence.

"I'm a god, y'know," Gloriana said conversationally. She liked Clare's perfume and
the casual way she held her.

"Do tell?" Clare felt the god-girl was hard to resist, yet knowing some of it was god-
glamour, the rest that she was so cute and seemingly sweet.

Michelle was having a similar experience with a talkative little Inanna. She explored
Michelle's earrings and necklace with fast fingers. "Would you like me to teleport
you someplace?", she gazed into Michelle's gray eyes.

"It's lots of fun...We could go to Little or Big..." she pointed up to the sky, meaning
the two small moons of Glory's World.

Michelle demurred gracefully, not understanding.

A bemused Dawn simply stared nonchalantly at Michelle, ignoring the other Clare.

But the experience removed any concern that Michelle ought to be afraid. If that was
Clare the god's intention, it was working. Michelle glanced at her and they exchanged a
brief second of mutual understanding.

Michelle saw that she was beaming at the effect both her girls were having in removing
the remaining tension from the two. Apparently for the set and support crew also.

Though they couldn't fully comprehend the situation, at least they could all relax a little.

Except for the episode director.

Normally an executive producer, she was subbing for someone who was in the
hospital. It was like old times. Until now.

She seemed to be getting less calm as the Twins worked their way closer. She stood
up from her folding chair. "Can someone explain how this is possible...?" she demanded,
sweeping a hand at the general area. Small beads of perspiration were visible on her
forehead.

"Sit down," Clare ordered, gesturing magically. The woman  was slammed down into the
canvas-seated chair. "Don't bother me again," she said smartly, recognizing what was
about to happen.

There was a reason she'd used the phrase "girls and not girls" earlier on the set

"Else I'll dump you in the lake. It's pretty cold," she added. "And the bigger sort of  fish
like treats."

[Ed- The sort of fish are first mentioned in "Our Story". Gloriana and her newly-minted sister,
Inanna, play in the fountain pond in the garden atop Glory's Palace. Gloriana scoops up
some of the sort of fish and shows Inanna that they have tiny little hands instead of fins.]

Wisely, the director shut up, gripping the rounded arms of her chair unusually hard,
cracking one.

Dawn turned from watching Michelle, Clare, and the god-girls - who were
doing a send-up job of pretending to be so innocent.

She gazed at  Clare, who was in the process of retying her scarf on her hair in
a classic Aunt Jemima style that made her look like someone whom you'd find
easy to talk to.

Your next door neighbor, perhaps.
The one that kept her home spotless.

Michelle had seen her pull similar stunts in Ohio and earlier.

Including using the god-girls to relax people. Clare 'd gotten her girls to fetch ice
cream for the soldiers in the escort trucks in the convoy to Wright-Patterson AFB.
After they left the landed "Triumphant".

The scarf trick was new, though.
Michelle wondered where she'd picked it up.

She was good.
Dawn could detect no appreciable glamour influence from her.
It was all acting.

Plus she was obviously up to something, as usual.
Probably convoluted in nature.

Looking back at the actors Michelle and Clare, plus the set, she realized that this was an
awfully blatant approach on Clare's part. How was she going to transition from mass
kidnapping to ... something acceptable?

Clare waved at Dawn to regain her attention.

"Dawn the Last Slayer, " she laughed at the now archaic term.

"Actually, Dawn the God. Dawn the CEO. Dawn the author. Dawn the producer.
Dawn the starship captain..." she paused at Dawn's look of annoyance and quickly
added, "... and pretty much partly my sister also, by blood...and bestowal."

"Well, anyway," she held out both hands, one to each. "Michelle, meet the real Dawn."
"Dawn, meet the girl whom we patterned you after...memories and all."

Dawn stepped over between the two actors, still holding the god-girls, who were both
watching intently, soaking up the moment.

Everyone resident in the palace knew the story of the other Dawn.

The one from the Glory Hall other magical dimension, merged since the tower events.
The Dawn  tortured and killed by the crazed other Buffy, who drank her Key blood to
gain near god powers.

Buffy in turn killed by Glory Hall, Curupira & Tess, destroying the Magic Shoppe and
all the bodies of the Scooby victims of that Buffy in the process.

Forcing them to seek out the parallel Dawn they'd originally made, with Clare's
connivance, to divert Buffy and the more powerful Glorificus from their plan to use
Glorificus' tower while she was otherwise occupied.

They failed and Plan-B ensued.

Clare gave birth to the god-girl Gloriana, the future god-body of Glory Hall.  In the
course of the pregnancy, Clare unexpectedly transitioned to god-hood in a time of
crisis.

[Ed- This was told in more detail in "Dawn the Last Slayer", online back in the summer of 2001.
After the initial Clare and Dawn bonding, before they fell asleep while talking. As noted
earlier, the making of Dawn in "Dark Deeds" is partially online and a long complete synopsis
is also online. Like the dimensional duplication consequences associated with forcing Glory
into baby Ben, the making of Dawn from the Key had other dimensional consequences.

Clare's transition to neophyte godhood occurred during the wall and ceiling running battle
with Isabel in the Roswell Crashdown, as told in "Three Days in Roswell", online since
             summer 2001.]

Meanwhile, the Sukkhal Twins, another confusing Clare and Callie, had continued
their curious sniffing hunt for the prey that Clare's coded verbal encouragement
assured them was present on the set.

The two were not gods, but were already a separate line of non-immortal supergirls
when Tess and Isabel found them in Clare's apartment in L.A. The Key belonged to
their 10,000 year old god-Killer line and they were linked to it.

It allowed them to absorb virtually any forces and dissipate them via the Key into all
dimensions harmlessly. This still worked after the Key was made into Dawn, who later
bestowed immortality on them.

[Ed- This is detailed in "Blood Road". Also the first inklings of how god-DNA works was discovered
by Tess while magically examining the Twins. In "Our Story" the link to Dawn was broken by '
the god-Girl Gloriana, when she resurrected one of the Twins killed by her Mom, Clare.]

Suddenly they stopped, bracketing the director/producer. Callie said "Enkum?"
Her sister disagreed, "Anunnaki hybrid of some sort...?

"Prey!" Clare called out abruptly.

Regardless,  both suddenly had their magically hidden galdius short swords in their
hands, long hair flying as they thrust for the kill at blurry superspeed.

[Ed- The role of the Anunnaki, gallu (grays), enkum and hybrids in earth's long enslavement by
genetically manipulating aliens (more than 400,000 years) is covered best in the
Addendum linked from Part 2  of "Comprehension". All humans on earth are genetic
manipulation descendants with various suites of Anunnaki overlord genes in their bodies.

The starships that Clare & Glory's Pantheon acquired are from the Anunnaki
and their allied or rival spacefaring clans scattered across most of our galaxy.
They've had starships for over 10 million years, inheriting the technology from
           even older spacefaring empires.]

The woman blurred!

She got about two superspeed steps before she was hit, or missed,  by a dozen or
more bolts of energy, assorted shield-traps and magic bindings, plus teleports
and several quicky trap-portals!

Cast by most of the supergirls and gods, including Clare and Dawn. Even little Moms
Ava and Tess were doing their part, to the amazement of the babies in their arms.

The Twins followed far too closely, mostly absorbing all the energies tossed at the woman,
rendering them rather ineffective.

"Stop it! Leave her to us!" they yelled frantically, still blurs.
Trying to get a clean thrust at her.

All the set people were on the floor as errant bolts hit cameras, set and the hall walls or
floor. Trap portals, intended for the woman to fall into,  wound up taking parts of the set and
a few lights to  destinations unknown.

Plus big sections of the ancient, purportedly magically protected, marble floor.

Angrily, Clare said a few choice bad words and stopped time for everyone with a gesture.
Except the Twins and Dawn.

Dawn Clare wanted to corral the woman.

The Twins because she had no idea what they could shrug off by absorbing  these days.
They were very adaptable. Even without their Key.

The amount of god-power it took to freeze time for so many gods and supergirls at
once was roughly equivalent to that required to launch L.A. and surrounding cities
into low earth orbit.

Even so, Holly was already shaking it off, as were Isabel-Amanda and Curupira...And
none too happily. Clare was breaking a lot of unwritten understandings about using
powers against the other girls.

Not that there was much they could do about it but complain, loudly.

"Crap and more crap!" Clare tried calming down a tiny bit, until she saw the extent of the
damage to their home, the palace. Then she uttered the longest, most sustained string of
profanity, in the dozen or so languages she was most proficient in,  that Dawn had ever
heard from her.

Even gutter Sumerian and high Anunnaki, both languages normally necessary for running
the automated starships.

And both with awesome vocabulary options for vulgarity. But dwarfed by the triple-plus origin
American that Clare was raised and erudite in.

The tall Isabel/Lonnie lookalike, Isabel-Amanda, called the Saint or the Nun behind her back,
teleported over to Clare and began whispering into her ear. Clare's face grew red. She
began wiggling her black-nailed fingers nervously as the spell on the others wore off abruptly
and mutterings of surprise sounded around the hall.

[Ed- Isabel-Amanda first appeared at the end of  "Three Days in Roswell" and the beginning of
"Three Days in Sunnydale", all online in 2001. She's frequently called Issy, for short. She's
the sister of the Sunnydale Tess (merged at the tower with Curupira for so many years).
Both are from the now merged Glory Hall's similar dimension.]

Annoyed, she reached up and grabbed Isabel-Amanda by the shoulders. "You can't
be serious," Clare said fiercely. Her powerful hands crushed the taller god into a
spasm of unlikely pain.

The big girl, probably the most powerful god after Clare, Glory & Holly, did something magical
in response that Clare defeated without effort immediately, surprise in her eyes that she even
had to defend herself through her normally more than adequate routine magical wards.

Clare blurred at transonic speed, suppressing the sonic booms,  and moved away a dozen
paces to collect her thoughts.

Immediately, all four of Clare's girls were between her and Isabel-Amanda, hands
outstretched menacingly.  "Leave our Mom alone," one of the teens said. "Or suffer
the consequences." Her look brooked no alternative interpretation.

Both teens drew their magically enhanced and normally hidden Scythian short swords.

"Yeah, " the little god-girls echoed their beloved older sisters, breaking their Clare-imposed
barriers in emergency-mode to tap into their past & future adult selves' full god -powers,
temporarily.

Dawn and the Twins moved, dragging the now-captive dazed mystery woman.
Dawn had persuaded the Twins to sheath their swords.
And joined Clare's girls.

Isabel-Amanda backed off, puzzled.
She was usually accepted for her logic and understanding, not resisted.

Tess, with Zan, and both other Tesses and Avas sauntered over and stood with Clare.
Followed by Curupira, Isabel and even Lonnie and Holly.

The other Lonnie was calmly continuing her busy changing of one of her twin girls on a
small table against the wall. She looked up and said. "I'm with my sister, Ava...first things
first..."

Her other girl was on the floor under the table, happily kicking at one of the
legs to hear the sound her tiny shoes made.

Few of the set people bothered to watch her instead of the confrontation in the center
of this end of the great hall.

One of the women, with a baby of her own at home, did.

After simply using regular babywipes on the gurgling girl, Lonnie tossed them at what
appeared to be only an unoccupied opening for one of the gold bas-reliefs that
spaced out between the wall tapestries.

But it flashed black and the discarded baby wipes vanished.

Later the woman would corner Lonnie, who'd helpfully explain to another Mom that
Clare had made a large number of such filtered response portals about the palace to
toss trash into.

The increasing number of Moms especially appreciated them.
No one knew where the dirty Pampers, babywipes and other stuff wound up but Clare.

Much later, a newly curious Lonnie found out that the far end of the magically
maze-protected portals was a cyclically random series of the homes and offices
of most of the leaders of the various heavily Enkum infiltrated pro-Alien government
and private organizations and agencies on Earth.

Non-sensitive materials, like Pampers and babywipes,  were sent unchanged.
Lonnie thought that was pretty clever and told her sister Ava.

Who told the other resident Mom, her old impregnation buddy, the "Lost Roswell"
Tess. They laughed each time they discarded stuff from then on, often telling their
now clean babies, "Mommy's sending your gift to someone who'll get a real kick out of it!"

[Ed- The decidedly humorous triple impregnation of the 'Lost Roswell'  Ava, Tess and Lonnie
by Alex Whitman, is covered in the not yet online, but partially in-hand in handwritten manuscript ,
"Having Babies".  Tess and her baby Zan's  later arrival in Sunnydale, & her revenge killing
of Liz, Michael and Max is detailed in "Bye-Bye Roswell Really", partially on-line. To be followed
by her  subsequent wildly amorous bestowal to godhood by an overwhelming Clare.  Then the
mission  to Antar.  Paralleled by Ava and Clare's 4 girls' bloody tour of New Mexico in their
"Quest for Alex".  Which was really a quest for Ava. The quest ended on a farm near Glorieta, N.M.]

The babies frequently responded to their Mom's tone by laughing.

Meanwhile, MIchelle and Clare were trying to discover what had happened. It was like
something had taken time from them.

Clare stood oddly behind the phalanx of her surprising supporters.

At that moment a great shadow fell across the palace, blocking out Bright, the
star that Glory's World orbited.

Through the windows a mile long silvery cylinder filled the eastern sky as it hovered
over the lake and finally settled down, pointing outward in the shallow water beyond the
"Clare Declared".

It was the "Glory Always".

The god-girls cheered the name aloud, excitedly.
Abandoning their position between Clare and Issy.
Running to the nearest doorway.

They idolized Glory.
Like most of the other girls.

The "Glory Always" sole occupants, ensuing teleportation after months in space,
took another tack.

Everyone, including the set people and the restrained captive, watched as three figures
walked across the intervening distance on the water to the dock and casually up the
walkway,  to enter the palace via one of the wide open doorways.

Glory, Buffy and Buffy-Anne looked at the strange scene of Clare separated
from Issy by all the girls. And the signs of battle. Plus the set and its people,
now absolutely beyond further amazement.

For this was obviously the real Glory that they thought was fiction. And what
appeared to be two Buffys. Then there was the impossible silvery ship.

[Ed- Buffy-Anne is the real girl extracted from the Buffy-Bot in "Three Days in Sunnydale"
by the Roswell Tess. She's the adopted daughter of Glory (Glorificus). She  looks
            like a teen Buffy.]

"Are you in trouble, honey?" Glory asked Clare pointedly from the doorway.

"Are you in trouble, honey?" Glory asked
Clare pointedly from the doorway.
Clare shook her head. "Apparently not,"
she managed a wan smile.

Clare shook her head. "Apparently not," she managed a wan smile.

Glory slowly walked over to Isabel-Amanda, standing alone. Buffy and
Buffy-Anne carefully moved to cover Glory, if need be. Normal procedure.
The two lookalikes, one a god and one a talented supergirl, were Glorificus'
inseparable constant companions.

Buffy was Glory's long-time love. A powerful, though reticent god,
she was Glorificus' perfect forever companion.
Buffy-Anne was  Glorificus' adopted daughter.

"Whatever's going on, Issy," Glory declared, "It's over."

"Remember, " she slid an arm about the much taller girl's waist.
"Clare's the Queen of the Pantheon for a reason. She earned it."

[Ed- In "Our Story" Clare successfully delimited the re-creatrix of the local
universe, Holly, preventing the meddling god from ever exiting her
re-creation and starting over. Clare's unique time-traveling powers
allowed her to observe Holly  when she walked the beach of a pre-earth
and decided to create a universe with life in her own image and in her
own time. Then Holly stepped into her creation. Severely constricting
             her available powers.

Clare sealed off Holly's exit to outside this reality, where she could
have access to all her deity powers of creation.  Clare's revelation of
this to Holly at the Round table dinner was the primary reason Clare
became Queen. Because she saved all from the oblivion of Holly's
often-threatened second re-creation of the local universe, without them.

Holly  was also the hidden architect of the failed attempt to cram Glory into
baby Ben, which resulted in the splitting of that dimension into at least
4 similar dimensions, back to about the Middle Ages. Holly's blunders
in trying to mend this mistake included helping the other dimensional
bound Glory  (Glory Hall) and her circle (Curupira, Pat, Tess & later Clare)
set up their plan to get Glory Hall on Glorificus' tower first. Glorificus was
too powerful and too unpredictable for Holly to allow to regain her power.

Holly was outsmarted almost accidentally by the wheels-within-wheels
conspiracies of Clare, Curupira, Tess ,& later Dawn, to trick Glory Hall into
failure and go to Plan-B, Clare's pregnancy with the god-girl. A probable
pathway  to god-hood for all four. Parts of this grand conspiracy are
scattered in the Works from "Beyond the Portal" to its fulfillment in
"Our Story",  when Clare bestowed god-hood onto them, directly or indirectly.

It was Holly's worst nightmare. In addition to facing the re-powered super-god,
Glorificus, and a lesser god, Buffy, she was looking at another in Clare, a third in
her god-baby, plus the rampant bestowals that created the supergirls. All of whom
were only one-step from potential god-hood. Is it any wonder that she was
            concerned?]

"Now, sweetie, apologize to Clare," she whispered a bit into
Isabel-Amanda's ear by pulling her halfway to her knees.

Stunned at what Glory told her, Isabel-Amanda fell to her knees
before the line of protecting girls, who obligingly parted to let Clare
step forward.

Clare knelt beside the ashen-faced girl and hugged her. "What did
Glory say, Issy? " she cupped her face in both her hands. The big girl
shuddered.

"Forgive me, Clare, please," her voice was shaking.

"Tell me," Clare kissed her on the forehead.

Softly, Isabel-Amanda told her. "I trust Clare as you must, without question."
Then, she teared up, "Glory told me that she'd kill me if I questioned your
decisions or actions again."

Clare comforted the absolutely terrified girl against her ample breasts.
Looking up at Glory, she saw a broad smile.
Glory winked.
Clare made her pixie-face back at her.

Clare and Glory had long ago secretly agreed on what their roles were.

Once critical of all the bestowals that were occurring, Glory had grown
to anticipate returning to the palace to meet them and discover what they
were doing.

Especially what Clare had been doing.

They were an ever-growing family that treated Glorificus as a legend
walking among them. Glory was immensely flattered by the respect
shown her.

Whereas Clare was just the one of them that happened to be a Mom, the
Queen and pretty down-to-earth in her manner, at least most of the time.
Besides she'd been human, but Glory was never really not a god of some
sorts.

They  frequently forgot that Clare was demonstrably far more powerful than
Glorificus in many ways. Besides being much more practical. A product of
having been raised to the age of 27 as human, before assuming godhood.

Beyond her two bestowals on Buffy, Glory had not made a single
supergirl or god since then. Except for tweaking Tess in Roswell long ago,
and tweaking Buffy-Anne.

Whereas Clare had been incredibly prolific in her bestowals.

"Lets do a little magic cleaning later, Issy," Clare pulled Isabel-Amanda to her feet.
"First, we can get a meal out  for our guests." Clare found one of her hands
and squeezed it.

Isabel-Amanda managed a smile of relief.

She kissed Clare on the mouth in hopes of forgiveness. Clare responded
eagerly. Issy had deliciously full soft lips that reminded Clare of another time
and another place.

Her eager tongue was sweet, yet tart at the same time.
She was forgiven.

Then the Twins and Dawn, still restraining the mystery woman, complained,
"Whadda we do we do with this stupid alien bitch?" one said.

Clare, still with her arm around the taller Issy, responded. "Give her to Glory.
After someone copies her relevant memories. And stifles her powers. I won't
have that thing running around in the palace."

Clare was assuming that no one with a Glory bestowal pedigree would volunteer.
to brain-drain a woman. She was stunned to see almost everyone capable raising
their hands.

"Damned efficient," she temporized. "Everyone wants to drain her."
Clare looked at the various hands raised and pointed to her roommate,
the  'Lost Roswell' Tess.

"She's all yours, Sweetie."

Tess jubilantly lifted her free hand and ran over to the captive woman, handing
Zan to one of the Twins.

"Our Sukkhal have taken her," Clare declared genially. "One day we'll get all of them.
Until then, I have a separate gift for Clare and Michelle."

Clare walked over, pulling Issy with her,

Leading the two actors to the table where Lonnie had been changing Fay
(or was it Kay? Only a Mom could tell). Against the wall was a high stack of
college theme-bound documents.

"These," Clare waved without loosening her grip on Issy's left hand, "are
copies of Dawn's Works. Those that she's already passed to her friends
in the other similar dimension, plus those already written that she hasn't.
Maybe a bit hard to read, but the real thing. All yours."

Meanwhile, Tess plunged her god black-nailed fingers into the woman's
temples amid all sorts of fireworks and began sorting through and copying
her important memories.

Buffy-Anne waited patiently to get the data later.
She could not do it herself.

Glory watched curiously.

It was strange that her one-time tricky method of survival was merely an
information-gathering activity by a relatively junior god these days.

Still, she admired the clinical efficiency of this particular Tess. The horrified
look on the hybrid woman's face was testimony to the almost brutal extraction
that the obviously somehow-practiced petite blonde was engaged in.

She had a streak of sadism that Glory found refreshing.

As Tess began transferring some of the images and info to Buffy-Anne,
without the benefit of a kiss, Glory was even more impressed. As was the
surprised Buffy-Anne. Her Glory-enhanced supergirl wards had been
breached like so much paper mache, though preceded by a courteous
request for access.

Glory settled down on a nearby bench to observe an expert at work.

She wanted to talk to this new god and to examine her baby, being
happily played with on the floor now by the mercurial god-Killer girls.

"Follow me," Clare used her free left hand to garner both Michelle and Clare.

"I have a pre-meal bash for all of you guests," Clare announced with
enthusiasm. She loved parties now. A correction to her rather peculiar
life as a teen in Delaware, Ohio.

[Ed- Based on the various Works, it is now almost a certainty that Clare
the god is the original Clare from our dimension. She and Curupira
mention the swapping of the various dimensional Clares and Callies.

Before and during the Ohio conference in "Our Story" and in the 1999-2000
flashback,  "Dark Deeds" enough clues are tossed out to lead to the
conclusion that the two Clare's were swapped sometime between the
1999 San Diego meeting on the outdoor set of  "Bring It On" and when
she moved to L.A. Or possibly even earlier? Clare the god  mentions
diddling with time regarding her lookalikes in "Our Story".

Clare the god has no tattoos. Clare in our dimension has two visible butterfly tattoos.
And the ankle butterfly tattoo is seen, slightly covered by makeup, in her her role as
Glory. Showing the swap was made before that.  Maybe just before "Bring It On".
This may be why our dimensional Clare is so insistent in repeating, "I am not a god!"
          Because she isn't.

Turning to her girls, now more calmed down, she instructed. "Take them to the
round table room and serve them wine and chips ... whatever, from our stocks.
Angie and Kat can sample the stock - once. Well, twice. Gloriana and Inanna
can sample only the wine- maybe twice also."

Her 4 girls cheered lustily in anticipation and ran off at superspeed to prepare
the room. All 4 holding hands in a manner that delighted Clare.

[Ed- The barbecue on the dock in "Bye-Bye Roswell Really" was where Clare let her
adopted teen supergirls get smashed for the first time, no magic allowed to bypass
the after-effects. This was the rather wild celebration of Tess becoming the
Queen  of Antar  by  virtue of conquest.]

Still retaining her grip on Issy, Clare urged Michelle and Clare to go with her near
one of the many  colonnaded hallways. "Follow me," she said. "All of your set people too,"
she added laughing. "And you, too, Dawn."

They all did. Already realizing by now that the little blonde god Clare was pretty much
in charge.

Fools they weren't.
Also, No one talked about the fate of the director.

"Dawn, " Clare paused and said loudly, " I bought the Buffy/Dawn franchise through
a third party for you. For your technically 21st birthday, taking into account the time
you've been here on Glory's faster time rate world."

Dawn brightened, "Really?"
Really," Clare smiled over Issy's shoulder.
Dawn ran over and gave Clare a sweet kiss on the mouth.

Michelle and Clare stood by Clare the god in anticipation.
Dawn took both their hands and followed Clare and Issy into
one of the side hallways.

Down the  hallway and to the left they entered the round table dining room.

Clare's girls were already dispensing wine, scotch, rum, tequila, Jack
Daniel's and French brandy to the thirsty set crew that had managed to
arrive rather quickly.

The supergirls were filtering in also, laughing.
They ignored the attempted hits by a few of the males in the crew.
Townie mortals were beneath them.

Except for the Sukkhal Twins, who playfully encouraged them, laughingly.
Then whipped out their short swords and laid them on the table.
There was no more after that.

Tess and Zan were at the table, beside Ava and her Eve. They began
feeding their babies the first soft food Clare's girls brought. Some
de-spelled crab cakes and soft cheeses.

The rest of the fare was eclectic.

Whatever Clare's girls thought was appropriate. Which became
broad as the teens sampled more liquid refreshment and the
god-girls got into their second glass of elderberry wine.

What got to the tables, usually via semi-accurate point A to Point B
teleports by the god-girls or on huge carts wielded by the teens, was
de-spelled from the palace's massive storage facilities.

The girls' idea of appropriateness ranged from seafood and meat
dishes to pizzas from Sunnydale and elsewhere, including some
stasis-spelled NYC pizzas brought back by Dawn in the "Triumphant"
from one of her business trips.

Clare watched as her involuntary guests drank and ate with
the palace residents and visitors.

Glory was deep in a discussion with Tess, while the reticent Buffy
learned to play with Zan, who was sitting on the table in front of Tess.

Tess watched her like a hawk, having little idea who she was.

Zan was up to his old tricks. Sampling everything he could grab.
He'd learned to get red pepper flakes out of shakers in Las Cruces,
so he was more cautious these days.

[ED - This was in "Quest for Alex" in the pizza restaurant off-campus.
Zan ate the peppers and Ava had to rescue him. This was a bit before
they stepped outside to leave and a dozen government secret agency
snipers shot at them. Ava and the  teens then killed them all. Following
information taken from them, Ava drove to Los Alamos.

There they  took the White Building in a bloodbath, killing all the occupants
and taking their servers. Ava brain-drained the leader who'd been
ordering the hits and killed him. Then they escaped to find Alex and
the two hybrid girls in nearby Glorieta, N.M.]
