"Gods Walking Among Us - Part 1 of 4"

  Transcribed from the truly awful to-translate handwritten documents provided by
  'Dawn the Last Slayer' in her fall of 2001 and later from the "Buffy-is-Real"
  dimension (corresponds to summer and later in the "Buffy-is-TV"  dimension) -

  Comment: There   have been provided several versions of what actually  happened
  at the portal tower 5/22/01, Apparently the  portal-driven  mergings caused some
  confusion  in the initial months that were later sorted out as new  information was
  uncovered and incorporated into  "Dawn the Last Slayer's" narratives concermning the
  remaining 3 similar dimensions.

Part 1 - "RPG Chris Hargensen"

A lone gray helicopter of unusual design and model for this part of California popped out of view
over the countryside. Having traced a curved path that crossed  over the prohibited airspace
surrounding the enigmatic crater that once was Sunnydale.

Before just vanishing.

"Holy crap!," Lucy swore as she realized that she'd just passed through a barrier of some sort over the
edge of the crater she'd been admiring. Knowing her silent partner role in creating it.

Her first thought was that of the witch bitch's penchant for barriers back in her own Glory days in
Sunnydale. "No," she stopped the forward progress of her helicopter, tilted it and clawed
it  backward.

Mapping the weak spot in the barrier with her Glory senses.

"Dimensional barrier..." she said aloud, excitedly. It would have been non-existent to almost any
one but a god like her, weak as she was bound in Lucinda's body by Hobson's choice.

Aware of the implications for her if it was a way home.
Though she felt no sudden increase in power.

Lucy looked at the ground thru the windows below the flight console. The porlal was 1,200 feet
above the south edge of the partially water-filled crater. When she traversed the barrier, she
saw an intact Sunnydale.

One like she'd flown over many times in the last couple of years she'd possessed Lucinda's lookalike,
but blonde, body & her clever clinging, emotional mind.

Lucy moved back and forth from one side of the barrier to the other as she felt for it with her senses
and the obvious difference between her ground view on either side of it. It was almost a half a mile
wide and a few hundred feet high. She'd been lucky to have run into it.

Her previous flights had been across the center and north.

Mostly because that was the most interesting part, where the primary roads fell off the crater wall.
Southern Sunnydale had been more open. With the outer parts tranisitioning to county countryside
and farms, and a few grape orchards here and there, where the soil permitted.
