Clare Kramer Got in queue for the the three new Clare professional photos to be signed signed by Clare.
The words following are mostly from our almost indecipherable notes written down afterward.
They're probably pretty much accurate, within reason.
- Clare arrived from the airport way late and went almost directly to her waiting queue.
- When Clare saw the T-shirt, she jumped back in the chair and said something like "Oh my god, It's you!"
- She said something like that she was overwhelmed that someone from the site was there. It was overwhelming
   in return for her to continue commenting about how the site was great PR.
- Recovered composure enough after she grabbed one hand to ask about the pair of very thin silvery rings on her
left wedding finger. Clare said that she bought them and was not secretly married. (Later one of the information
table women said Clare wore the rings to ward off advances when she was traveling. In the photos we saw taken
after that evening, Clare is not wearing the rings).
- Also asked if she was getting the stuff we send her via her manager periodically. (One recent thing we sent
   was her "Tru Calling" episode from satellite DVR hard drives written to DVD with portions of "Lessons" and all of
   her 2002 "Sabrina", also from the same source). Clare said yes, and they were appreciated.
- Asked if she'd ever run into Emilie de Ravin, since they both now have the same manager.
Clare said yes and that Emilie was her friend. And that she apparently was still in Edmonton, Alberta
shooting her film. (Emilie has been there since just after mid-February as the female lead in "Santa's Slay").
- Whole experience was quite unexpected and took a long time to come down from.

- Asked Clare after the queue photo with her if she would talk about permission to use her 3
   new photos on the site, since one of the stewards had asked and discovered that Clare had paid for the photos
   to be taken herself, apparently back in L.A. She said yes.
- The 3 in the array on the wall where they were being sold: Two are of Clare in a little black dress,
   posing in a dry bathtub. The other one the girls nearby called Clare's naughty photo. It's a takeoff
   of a 2001 FHM one.
- While waiting for Clare to complete her endless photo queue, had an opportunity to talk at length to Nick Brown.
- He and Clare'd had their first Q&A session together and signed autographs together. In the Q&A Clare had said that
- they were friends and he'd given Clare a karoke machine last Christmas. Nick was the Buffy costume designer when
Clare was Glory in Buffy. He's a fountain of knowledge about Buffy costumes and other behind the scenes lore.
- Anyway we talked about gloryisagod.com and he said that he frequently saw news (somewhere, didn't catch where)
saying that 'This has just been put up on gloryisagod". We got to talking about Emilie & Michelle, since their
names were also on the T-shirt. He apparently knew Emilie. And he noted that Michelle had sprung up like a weed
in height to be obviously taller than Sarah, making decisions necessary about high heels.
- While he was glancing at Clare, who'd completed her queue and was now posing for photos with the photographers
and photo helper volunteers and Sean, Nick made an interesting statement, "Clare is very smart."
- We'd remember this and think about it often when Clare was giving her lengthy responses to our unexpected
   private Interview with her 2 days later.
- Clare then came over to the stage to put her jacket on. We talked about photo permission. She said that, though
she'd paid for them, she'd have to e-mail her photographer friend to see if he'd give permission. Clare was
concerned about her autographed photos getting on e-bay, as Starfury tickets and photos have. Commented to
her that with all the hundreds already sold, and to be sold, that was inevitable. They were the first new professional
ones of her since 2001-2002.
- Besides, her shorthand style signature was very easy to forge (She writes approximately "Clr E. Kr" for
Clare Elizabeth Kramer).
Our Fusion Clare autographs, etc.

- Noted that we had a forged Emilie de Ravin signature from somewhere. And Emilie signs her full name with
   flourishes and big loops. But the forger left out the "de" in her name.
- Clare said she'd e-mail that night. (NOTE: She never was able to get permission)

5/1/04
Clare Kramer - Kinda hung in the general vicinity against a post waiting for Clare to finish her day's queue photos.
   In case she'd gotten an answer to the e-mail,
- After awhile Sean came over and said that Clare was going to give a 10 minute site interview!
Asked if that included still photos? He said yes. Was this his idea or Clare's? Clare's, he said.
He said it could be after this photo session or Sunday after Clare's last autograph session.
- He suggested the latter so questions could be prepared before hand. That made lots of sense.
   So later spent many hours drafting and testing 10-15 questions, then boiling them down to 13
   in keyword/outline format.

Glory's Posse

Nickolaus Brown - Had promised the two girls from Birmingham (Holly & Danielle) in the B&B Glory T-shirts at breakfast to become
   members of Glory's Posse.

- Waited outside the side hall exit of the Richmond Room where Clare & Nick were signing autographs.
- When they were through, about 12:25 PM or so. Clare said that had to visit the bathroom. She left with Sean and
   Nick was behind them a bit. Told Nick had really enjoyed his Q&A, and wound up going to both of his.
- When Clare & Sean came back in a few minutes later, we had a discussion about how to do the interview - the rules.
The mini-cam had not been used, being generally forbidden, but had seen others others using them for the Fancy Dress
   event. So offered to use it as an audio recorder. Clare said that they trusted us and video would be OK.
- Sean took the camera and asked what buttons to push. Showed him.
Said to keep it on Clare.
- We had a warm-up discussion about the site. Clare again expressed thanks for it.
- Noted that Kiera, who had taken many of photos that we put up in 2002 & 20023 probably would not be
   here because of a personal situation. (Was that ever wrong.. Back home on 4 May, we found a bunch of her
   images in e-mail. Her stage photos are better than ours. Based on the times and events, at several
   points we must've been almost tripping over one another. Without knowing it).
- But we also followed Clare onto the dance floor when she was posing and got many great shots.
   Including one that had sufficient resolution to show her silver Tiffany necklace. Clare's 2004 Gallery 15
- Reminded her that it was just a part of the whole. Mentioned again that we Aeris' French Clare site
and ours shared a lot of content. That we had the Clare-Emiilie-Michelle group, mostly
Clare, with a bit under 300 members, Emilie's a bit less, but gaining. And was one of many
Assistant Managers on the massive content Michelle Trachtenberg Net, which has passed 1,000 members
not too long ago. There are many admirer members that never post, but they are are still there.
- Also that it was our long range gallery coverage with attendees photos that had changed the scope of our site
in publicizing her activities.
- Started the interview. Included were background questions about how she came to be at her first Starfury
in 2001. Questions were associated with her films, old and new. Her tattoos, her cats, Emilie, Michelle and Eliza,
and stuff we were interested in or that no one had ever asked, to our knowledge.
-After completing the interview, which ran to 21 minutes...mostly due to Clare's extensive and informative answers on
many of the questions, Took 9 still photos of Clare posing against the inner door.
- We had another discussion about the June 2003 French convention that imploded in Paris.
(Because Clare had answered one question saying that she'd finally get a short Paris vacation after Fusion
   Returning for this weekend's Norwich event. Then back to the States until the June events start. ).
They said the guests never got lodging or guest fees paid per their contracts. And Clare was headed for the
airport when   she discovered that she had no flight booked. The people who set it up, we remembered from
postings on Clare's forum and elsewhere, claimed Clare wanted additional money as a guest..
Which was untrue.
- And about voice-overs on "Chaos Bleeds" last summer.
IMDB.COM had initially reported that it was to be a Season-5 Glory-based plot with Clare voicing Glory.
That turned out to be wrong. The plot finally wound up not including Glory or Dawn.
- We noted that the unexpected interview and video & still photos were unlikely to be topped and were
   canceling our plans to try to get to a lot of the remaining 5 Clare events. But would probably try to make
   the Belfast event & Summer Party weekend to see how it ended.

5/3- 4/045 - Took the train back to Manchester. British Rail Police yanked a suspect of some sort off the train before it left
   Blackpool. Stayed that night in one of the airport hotels. Real dattimes food after the Norbreck cafeteria line.
   With Mary-Kate & Ashley on the satellite TV. And a German language channel.

5/4-6/04 Back home after a grueling flight:
- Began selecting Gallery images and populating the Fusion Gallery with Kiera & our photos.
-Copied the 21 minute interview tape to DVD for capturing and to send a DVD copy to Clare.
Along with the ROA top & pants.
